Steven “Casey” Parry, Founder & CEO
Casey is the heart of Efficiency Builders, and has been since the company’s inception. Born and raised in Nevada with a love of indigenous culture, customs and traditions, it has been Casey’s vision, since his early teenage years, to create and run a general contracting company whose primary focus is delivering QUALITY and VALUE for Native Americans. And it has been his passion, drive and tremendous attention to detail that have enabled the company to attract and keep the dedicated personnel and partners that materialize the realization of that vision.
Casey’s personal values are visible through his passionate execution and client-first outlook (which translates to quality deliverables as a “do-or-die” proposition), and witnessed throughout Efficiency. It is omnipresent in Efficiency’s project management and execution; budgeting and proposal generation; and proactive on-site coordination with subcontractors. The resulting culture of passionate professionalism focused on quality and value combine to ensure alignment and efficiency at every step of the construction process, culminating at final commissioning.
Casey maintains continuous and clear communication with owners and their deputies, keeping stakeholders informed of progress, anticipating potential delays and the cost implications of any requisite change orders. His ability to build trust by delivering on promises fosters strong relationships. His frequent project-site presence exemplifies his dedication, as he collaborates closely with subcontractors to ensure their success and smooth project advancement. The delivery of exceptional quality and value to the Native American Community is Efficiency’s creed: QUALITY FOR THE TRIBE is Efficiency’s “no-dicker-sticker” thanks to Casey.
Casey’s daughter and wife are both Yerington Paiute Tribe members. His focus on QUALITY FOR THE TRIBE originated as a vision quest and dream. Today, it is simply Casey’s way of life.
J. Kale Flagg, President & COO
With an economics and political science degree from Yale University and over 30 years in real estate development and construction, Kale has an innate understanding of finance, contracts and deal making. Kale has helped enable Efficiency to continue its steady growth and increase its QUALITY FOR THE TRIBE value proposition. Kale’s focus on win-win contracts, partnerships and deals symbiotically aligns with Casey’s values and Efficiency’s QUALITY and VALUE for Native Americans vision.
Native Indian Preference
Efficiency Builders is steadfast in its commitment to upholding Native Indian preference and supporting tribal members through every stage of its projects. As a native-owned contracting company, Efficiency Builders takes pride in fostering strong partnerships with tribal communities and empowering local talent.
For every project undertaken on tribal lands, Efficiency Builders collaborates closely with local tribal leadership to identify and employ tribal members who possess the necessary skills and training. Additionally, the company is dedicated to providing opportunities for tribal members who may not yet have the required expertise, offering preference in training, employment, and contracting to ensure they can contribute meaningfully to each phase and aspect of a project.
Efficiency Builders also ensures fair and equitable compensation by adhering to the Davis-Bacon Act, for all employed tribal members. This commitment reflects the company's dedication to economic empowerment, skill development and the respectful integration of tribal labor and subcontracting in its projects.
Experience, Qualifications, Specialized Experience and Technical Competence
Organized as a State of Nevada limited liability company in 2017 Efficiency Builders’ partners and owners have successfully completed a plethora of commercial and residential development and general contracting projects, including ground up “stick builds,” manufactured homes, residential remodels and commercial build outs.
Efficiency has successfully completed multiple large-scale projects on Native American Sovereign Land—including commercial, private-residential and tax credit projects.
